The ingredients needed to make Brownie Cake:
- Make ready 100 grams flour
- Make ready 100 grams sugar
- Make ready 100 grams butter
- Make ready 3 eggs
- Take 2 tablespoons baking powder
- Take 1 tablespoon baking soda
- Get 150 grams dark chocolate
- Make ready 50 grams coco powder
- Make ready 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
- Take 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions to make Brownie Cake:
- Take a bowl and keep the butter in a room temperature for 10-15 mins so that it gets soften. Now start to beat the butter and add the ground sugar into the butter. Beat the whole mixture until it gets a creamy texture. Now add 3 eggs & the vanilla extract into it and mix it well.
- Now take another bowl and strain the flour into that bowl so we can get rid of lumps. After that, we have to do the same process with the cocoa powder, baking soda & baking powder.
- Now we have to pour wet ingredients into the dry one. Remember we have to add it slowly and can’t whisk it. We have to apply the cut and fold method so that the air remains intact into it.
- Now melt the chocolate into a double boiler. Or else we can melt the chocolate in the microwave oven for 30 secs. Once the chocolate is melted, keep it aside for 10 mins so that it cools down. Remember that we can’t add the hot chocolate immediately because the batter contains eggs. So we have to cool it first. After 10 mins add only half of the chocolate into it and apply the cut and fold method again. Put a pinch of salt which actually enhances the taste and make a nice balance of sweet.
- Now take a mold and butter brush it. After that take a butter paper and cut the according the shape of the mold. Put the butter paper onto the surface of the mold. Now pour the whole cake mixture into it.
- Preheat the oven at 150 degrees for 5-6 mins. Now put the cake batter into the oven and set the temperature at 170 degrees for 25 mins.
- Meanwhile prepare the ganache. Remember we have half of the chocolate left. Now take a pan and pour half cup of heavy cream into it. Once it gets heated, pour the chocolate into it. Now add 1 table spoon of butter to get an extra shine. There after, keep the ganache to cool it down.
- Once the cake is completely baked (Make sure that the cake is not undone, if it is then put the cake into the oven without switching on the oven because the inside of the oven is still hot. So if there is any raw part into the cake, it will get cooked by the heat inside.) keep it aside to cool it down. After 15-20 mins, put the ganache on the top of the cake without demolding the cake. now put the cake into the refrigerator for an hour or so. You can make designs with white chocolate on the top.
- Now take a knife and run it through the edges of the cake so that it comes out easily. Now place the cake on a plate and cut it into pieces as you want. Finally it’s ready to serve! ENJOY!
