- Now add 2 tbsp of prepared jelly but not set and vanilla extract into custard,stir to mix,cover the pot and let the custard cool to room temperature,when cooled,give a quick whisk - To assemble; - Take a large glass bowl or individual glasses so,layers can be seen - Place the spong cake in the bottom of bowl or glass,spoon some custard mixture over the cake - Layer the fruits,and jelly,spread another layer of custard mixture,add jelly,cover the assembled trifle - Keep in refrigerator.
