- In a bowl add sugar, butter, milk powder, vanilla essence and milk. Whisk all ingredients together. Smooth batter without any lumps.
- Now sieve and add maida, cornflour, baking powder and baking soda and vinegar. Mix well. Batter is now little thick and smooth.
- Grease a tin, preheat the oven @180°c for 10 mins. Bake it for 35 minutes. When done remove it from the oven, cool it completely. Keep it in the fridge for 10 mins. Remove from the fridge and keep it aside.
- To make the glaze, we need to mix all the ingredients. Make a lump free mixture. In a pan heat it on a low flame till it thickens. Remove from heat, add butter. Mix well till butter melts. Sieve it thru a strainer to avoid any lumps.
- Now divide it into 2 parts. In one add pink color, mix well. In another add the red rose color.
- Place the sponge cake on a wirerack. Pour the pink mixture glaze and red rose mixture glaze. Allow it to spread all over completely. Garnish it with silver balls and heart shaped chocolate.
