  11. Prepare 1 Fresh fruits/ cocktail tin

  14. Get 1 pack Vanilla pudding powder

  16. Prepare Whipped cream layer
  17. Prepare 200 ml Whipping cream
  18. Get 2 tbsp Icing sugar (optional)

Instructions to make Fruit Trifle:

  1. Prepare custard as directed on box. Set aside to cool.
  2. Prepare jelly of both flavours and cool at room temperature and then keep in refrigerator to settle well down.
  3. In a bowl add vanilla pudding powder and cold milk and whisk well until fluffy smooth mixture is ready.
  4. Whipp the whipping cream until stiff peaks are formed. Separate the 1/3 portion of cream and put it into icing bag.
  5. If you are using fruit cocktail then drain it well.
  6. Now comes the most interesting step to set the layers. Make slices of the sponge and make a layer at the bottom of bowl.
  7. Spread the custard mixture smoothly over the cake layer.
  8. Cut the jelly into cubes and spread evenly on custard.
  9. Make a beautiful layer of fruits over the jellies layer.
  10. Put vanilla pudding over fruit layer and make smooth surface.
  11. Spread a generous layer of whipped cream over vanilla pudding layer.
  12. Repeat the steps to make different layers until bowl gets full.
  13. Decorate with whipped cream (icing bag), jelly and some fruits(dry fruits can be used).
