  1. Measure and collect all the ingredients for making batter.
  2. Add curd, cooking oil, jaggery, cardamom powder and banana in a mixer and grind till the mixture becomes fluffy.
  3. Add half wheat flour and milk in this mixture and grind and mix thoroughly. Add remaining wheat flour and milk and mix in mixer on pulse mode.
  4. Now add baking powder and baking soda and churn again for 1 minute.
  5. Heat a wok. Add salt in it. Place a stand on it. Heat it on medium high flame for 10 minutes.
  6. Grease a thali and then dust it with dry wheat flour.
  7. Now pour this mixture in this thali and tap it. Garnish with tutti Frutti and pistachio.
  8. Place this thali in karahi and cover it. Steam it on medium high flame for 35 minutes.
  9. Do the knife test. Insert a knife in cake if it comes clean it means cake is ready.
  10. Prepare a glaze by mixing 1 tsp sugar and 1 tsp lemon juice. Apply on cake all over.
  11. Demould the cake by moving a knife all round the cake and then tapping on the back of thali. Cake will come on other thali. See pic below.
  12. Slice the cake and serve.
