- Sprinkle cake flour on a clean and flat work surface. Make sure your puff pastry is defrosted. Roll out the puff pastry using a rolling pin. Roll according to your thickness of choice.
- Cut the rolled out pastry into half. Trim edges to neaten the pastry and to get the square/rectangle shape.
- Cut 3-4 diagonal lines on both sides of each square/rectangle but make sure the lines are not to long and there is sufficient space in the middle
- Mix your semi-boiled veggies into your mash and layer it in the centre of each square/rectangle and then top it with some grated cheese
- Criss cross the diagonal lines on both sides of the pastry making sure the mash filling is well secured in the centre. The diagonal criss cross gives the pastry a plait look.
- Place it on your cake flour greesed tray. Brush the top of each with some with or butter. Egg is the best to use but since this is a all veggie croissant egg is not a good choice to use
- Pop it into your preheated oven and bake for +- 10 mins till golden brown…Enjoy!
