- Sieve flour, baking powder, salt and custard powder in a bowl and keep it aside
- Blend butter and sugar in a bowl for 3-4 minutes
- Add dry ingredients and milk alternative and gradually. Blend well. Add vanilla extract and blend
- Pour batter into prepared pan and level evenly
- Bake for 25-35 minutes until done. Allow to cool for 30 minutes. Demould and cool completely
