- In a bowl, add grated jaggery & hot water. Mix them well, cover it & let it rest for 5 mins.
- After 5 mins, add oil to it. Mix everything well.
- Now keep a strainer over the bowl & put aata, cocoa powder, baking powder & baking soda over it. Mix everything well without forming any lumps.
- Now add vinegar to it and mix it again well. Now add some tooti-frooti and chopped dry fruits over it and mix everything well again.
- Now grease a cake tin with some oil or ghee & sprinkle some dry flour over it. Dust out the excess flour. Now pour the batter into it and tap the cake tin gently to remove the extra air bubbles from the it. Sprinkle some chopped dry fruits over it.
- Now take a kadai for pre-heating with it’s base covered with salt and a stand over it. Cover it and pre-heat the kadai for 3 mins on high flame and then 7 to 8 mins. on medium flame.
- After 8 mins, place the cake tin over it, cover the Kadai and bake the cake on a low flame for about 50 mins. After 50 mins let it come to room temperature then de-mold it, cut it into pieces, and serve as required.
