- you can add or lessen the amount of coconut to taste like I said I love coconut you can also use food coloring in the cake batter frosting and coconut flakes that you top it with!!! you can double or even triple the recipe if you want i have and it doesn’t change it at all! you can make a round two-three layer cake (make sure you put frosting in between your cakes) or make a sheet cake its all how you want to present it or how many you are serving if a crowd of of course do a 1 layer sheet cake for a small family just make a round cake its all up to you hope you enjoy
