- Mix in the apples and raisins till combined.
- Using a spatula transfer the batter to the tin and level the batter out.
- Sprinkle over the sugar and transfer the tin to the oven. Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Test by poking a skewer into the batter, if the skewer comes out clean, the cake is Cooked.
- Allow to cool completely in the tin before removing it.
