- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, whole wheat, baking powder and soda,,,,In separate bowl,add oil, milk. Melt the jaggery for 30 sec and add into the mixture to form a smooth puree.
- Add both wet and dry ingredients to form a nice batter, add little milk, if batter gets too thick, Grease a baking dish and pour the batter in it. Now sprinkle some cashew nuts and raisin on top of the batter.
- Now, spread around a cup of salt in a pressure cooker, preheat the pressure cooker for 5 mins, place cake tin inside pressure cooker. Close lid and do not forget to remove whistle and rubber gasket. Bake for 40 to 50 min on moderate-low flame. Turn off heat after 40 min. Allow it to cool down. Now use knife or stapula to loosen cake. Invert into a plate. The wheat cake is ready.
