The ingredients needed to make Cassava Cake:

  1. Make ready 500 grams grated fresh cassava(squeeze the juice)
  2. Take 5 Tbsp glutinous rice flour
  3. Make ready 1 can condensed milk (reserved 1/4 part for toppings)
  4. Make ready 1 can evaporation milk
  5. Prepare 1 tetra pack coconut cream
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp margarine for greasing the pan
  8. Make ready 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (topping)

Steps to make Cassava Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. - Prepare a baking pan (I used 8"x 8" sguare pan) and grease with butter. Set aside.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well. - Pour to the greased baking tray. - Bake for 40 minutes.
  3. Mix the topping ingredients then pour-in over to the top of the baked cassava. - Bake for another 15 minutes or until the toppings are caramelized/turned brown. - Remove from oven and let it cool slightly before serving or if you can wait ;) till it cools down completely (I prefer it cold).
