  1. Take 1/2 cup Unsalted melted Butter
  2. Get 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
  3. Get 1 1/2 cup Semolina
  4. Get 1/2 cup Flour/ Maida

  6. Prepare 1/4 tea spoon Cardamom powder
  7. Get 1/4 cup Hung Curd
  8. Prepare As needed Milk
  9. Take 3/4 tea spoon Baking powder
  10. Take 1 drop Red Food colour
  11. Take 1 cup chopped almonds

Instructions to make Egg less Zebra Cake:

  1. In a bowl, mix the butter & sugar well using a hand mixer. Seive semolina, flour, add them in butter mixture, then add a pinch of salt, cardamom powder, yoghurt, required amount of milk & mix well. The batter will have a medium consistency. Cover this mixture for around 15-20 minutes.
  2. After 20 minutes, add baking powder in the batter & mix well. If the batter is too thick, add some more milk & add chopped almonds.
  3. Pour equal amount of batter in 2 separate bowls. Add red food colour in one of the bowl’s batter.
  4. Grease butter in the baking tray, using a spoon, pour some white batter in it, then pour a lesser amount of the red batter, repeat this process until there is a circular layer in the centre. Carefully pour & make the circular layers, so that they do not mix with each other.
  5. To make the zebra design, use a toothpick, draw lines (like radius) from outward side to the centre of batter as shown in the picture.
  6. Bake the cake in an oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180℃. Using a toothpick, check weather cake is cooked properly from inside, if the toothpick comes out clean, it is ready, if not, then bake it for another 15 minutes.
  7. And your Eggless Zebra Cake is ready to serve! Cut into pieces as per you wish & enjoy!
