- Take 3/4 th cup powdered sugar

- Seive maida thrice and keep aside.
- In a separate bowl beat curd and sugar add baking soda, baking powder and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes curd will become forthy. Then add oil and vanilla essence to it mix. Now add maida to it.
- Pour half of this batter to another bowl and add cocoa powder to it. If u find this mixture dry add a lil milk and adjust its consistency.
- Take a greased mould. Dust it with maida. Pour a spoon full of white batter in the center to the mould, tap it spread then pour a spoon full of chocolate batter in the centre of the white batter, tap and let it spread too.
- Continue this process till u get enough chocolate and white circles. (I cud not use the intire batter. I made two cup cakes with the rest of the batter.)
- Now with a tooth Pick make lines starting from the center to the edge of the pan. Make around 8 lines with equal gap in between them. Similarly make like In between those lines starting from the edge to the center of the mould. (this means you will move tooth Pick in opposite direction) you will see this beautiful pattern.
- Bake at 180 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or till a tooth Pick comes out clean.
- Zebra cake is ready to eat.
- In my opinion you can create any pattern you want and pour batter in any fashion. Do not over beat the cake batter.
